This is my second Wearever pan and I have been very pleased with both. The nonstick quality lasted far longer than other inexpensive fry pans I have bought and the first one didn't give out until my son put it in the dishwasher - which is plainly not recommended by the manufacturer. My only complaint about the first pan was the rounded metal handle: the new shaped plastic one in much better.

We got this pan as a fill in while we sent our Calphalon pan off for replacement. Much to our surprise we use this pan more than the pan we sent for replacement. One brilliant part of the design is that the rivets for the handle have non-stick coating on them. No more scrubbing the eggs off the rivets.

I saw this pan reviewed on America's Test Kitchen on PBS and ordered it from Amazon. It is so great if you're watching your weight and fat intake. Clean-up is a dream. I highly recommend this pan, and ordering it from Amazon could not have been easier.

I can't believe it - finally a nonstick frying that can actually fry foods without worry. It only took the industry 50 years!

Wearever is manufacturing several variations of these "metal utensil safe" pans which can finally be used at high heat without releasing fumes.

Do a search of "WearEver Sturdy Hard Anodized" and then go visit in person. I found one labeled "WearEver Integrity". The bottom of the pan was labeled "Forged Aluminum" and "Engineered in USA".

A most welcome advance in cooking technology!

I purchased this pan to replace my 25 year old Wearever 12" skillet that still had it's non-stick surface intact but the outside was getting a little rough and the handle was pretty loose.I hope that it lasts as long as my first one. So far I am very pleased with it's performance.

I've had a few Wearever products, and have tried several other major brands. Wearever is clearly the best. Non-stick surface is a joy to cook with and lasts a long time. Easily worth the price in terms of quality generally, and durability.

This sauté pan is a nice weight, and a generous size for all the frying, sautéing, browning needs we have in our two-person household. It cleans up easily and nicely.

I'm no chef, but I've used a lot of pans and I'm pretty happy with this one. I did a lot of research (probably too much) and went with this one, but there were a lot of other options that looked decent as well. It's showing some scratches now after about 6 months of use (slash abuse by my roommates), but there's no such thing as an invincible non-stick pan so that's what you get. Just buy a new non-stick every 2 years or so, unless you have abusive roommates...then probably every year.

We bought it recently and use it each day so far. I like it. I wonder how long I will use it. Usually, my fry pans last only several month. Hope this new technology pan will last several years.

I returned this pan because it is very light-weight. There was also a minor defect in the way the non-stick coating was laid down on the particular pan that I received, creating a raised line in the bottom of the pan, which sealed my decision not to keep it.
