Crafted of hard-anodized aluminum, this saute pan from WearEver features a nonstick interior to prevent food from sticking. Hard-anodized aluminum has been given a special finish to protect it from corrosion. It is a good conductor of heat and the special finish makes it stick-resistant. The pan's nonstick interior is safe to use with metal utensils. Cookware that is "safe for use with metal utensils" is safe with most metal utensils, such as forks, spoons and spatulas. Do not cut or use rotary beaters in the cookware. Extremely sharp utensils, such as knives, may scratch the nonstick surface. The 8-inch pan features a stay-cool handle riveted on for durability. Hand washing is recommended for care. The pan comes backed by a lifetime warranty.

Skillet is serviceable, but too lightweight and not well balanced for heavy grates on gas range. I own older (approx. 10 yrs.) Wearever anodized cookware, which I love and this is not the same quality. Disappointed, but won't return as it was deeply discounted. Recommend Kitchen Essentials Calphalon.

The frying pan is quite lightweight. I should have researched it better. I have one the same size from several years ago (also WearEver) and I love it. This one I won't love.
