The pan's nonstick interior is safe to use with metal utensils. Cookware that is "safe for use with metal utensils" is safe with most metal utensils, such as forks, spoons and spatulas. Do not cut or use rotary beaters in the cookware. Extremely sharp utensils, such as knives, may scratch the nonstick surface. The 8-inch pan features a stay-cool handle riveted on for durability.
