I have Lisa Dewey's first album and was very excited when this one finally came out. I absolutely loved the first, but this one is just so amazing! Her talent just seems to blossom the more time goes by. You FEEL her longing and purity, yet her sense of humor is still very alive here - always a treat. She uses many different instruments, and none of the songs sound the same and I love the fact that Simon from the Cocteau Twins has helped her play on this album...they're also one of my favorite bands. No wonder I like her stuff so much!

This is a really great record. The Simon Raymonde production adds the Cocteau Twins feel (as well as very professional production), but the songs are still definitely Dewey. Every song is a gem.

Was Lisa Dewey's Weather Changer Girl. Lisa vascillates between dreamy Cocteau Twins-esque ethereal music and an energy charged punk rock style. Her lyrics are poignant and the music is honest and beautifully executed.
