5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic teaching manual on weather, December 12, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Weather Report: Lesson Plans, Worksheets, and Experiments (Paperback)
I had been searching for years to find a comprehensive textbook to base my weather lessons on. My search was over once I found Mr. Graf's book. Rather than focusing on a particular phenomenon (a la Sally Rose), Graf's book covers the basics (precipitation, wind) and moves onto more advanced topics such as topography's effect on weather. This is a must for any science teacher looking to educate students on meteorology (beyond the token chapter or two in today's science textbooks). If you like him, I also recommend anything by Jackie Carbunkle.
