5.0 out of 5 stars Awsome tent
I was amazed with how easy it is to put up this tent! In less than 30 seconds, I could start dumping my gear in my tent. All of my buddies were amazed. Because the poles are so sturdy, I didn't even stake down my tent, and it was just fine. It came down as easy as it went up, but it did take me a few tries to get the hang of it. As with most tents, the bag is too...

Ok,I bit. I had a cheap Costco tent before but the poles kept snapping so I thought I'd try something different. This tent seemed like a good deal and I had free shipping so I went for it. Just like the instructions say, it is very easy to put up - just like an umbrella. The frame is already part of the tent so you don't need to slide in those poles like other tents...

As with most tents, the bag is too small after you first use it. You can make it fit back in the bag if you really try, but it was much easier to buy a $5.00 extra large tent bag and throw it in the bigger bag. I love this tent!

Ok,I bit. I had a cheap Costco tent before but the poles kept snapping so I thought I'd try something different. This tent seemed like a good deal and I had free shipping so I went for it. Just like the instructions say, it is very easy to put up - just like an umbrella. The frame is already part of the tent so you don't need to slide in those poles like other tents. The rain fly is pretty easy to put on so I was happy. Then I tried to put it away. It's pretty easy to bring down as well - just like an umbrella. The hard part is folding it and getting it back in the bag. Like a road map, I just can't figure out the secret. Basically, it is now folded at twice the size as when I took it out of the box. I tried for almost an hour but couldn't get it back in the bag. I can't even get it back into the box to send it back. Darn thing is like tryng to fold an octopus. Anyway, puts up easy, comes down easy, impossible to get back in the bag. Since it's a car-camping tent I can live with this problem as I just need to find a bigger bag and some more patience.

2.0 out of 5 stars fast pitch tent, August 27, 2007

I love to camp but hate the set-up and I thought this tent would be perfect. It was the first two times I used it, through wind and rain. The third time it leaked like crazy and the next time I took it out of the bag, one of the upper supports was broken. The company I bought it from no longer stocks it so, unless I can find replacement parts, I have the perfect tent that I can't use. Easy up and down but I never could get it all the way back into the bag it came in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Tent, August 9, 2005

This is my third tent and by far my favorite. When it arrived, I put it up in the backyard without using the stakes. It took some work, and women who don't have a lot of upper body strength will struggle a bit more than I did. The tent goes up like opening an umbrella and comes down the same way. I took it down faster than I put it up and was able to fold it to fit back into the bag, but then nothing else fit. I made a new bag for the tent and all its supplies. This tent is big enough for four people.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great purchase at sale price, August 9, 2005

This tent was as easy to assemble as promised, but the material is quite flimsly. I couldn't imagine braving the elemets encased in this, but it's fine for fair weather or backyard fun w/kids. Very roomy and with screened air vents for circulation. Item is now discounted or discontinued at most online stores, so if you can get it at a reduced price, it's worth it. Advice: Don't pay full price. Not for the serious outdoorsman.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fastest tent set up ever!!, July 19, 2005

I thought it was too good to be true. A tent set up in less than a minute? Well, you can believe it! You literally push it up like an umbrella, then unscrew the pole, and voila! you have a tent! The only thing is I wish they made it a little bigger. We had a queen and a double mattress and we just had a little walk space. Good enough though and well worth the money!

1.0 out of 5 stars This tent is a piece of junk!, July 18, 2005
This review is from: WeatherRite Fast-Pitch 9- by 9-Foot Four-Person Tent (Sports)
The weatherrite tent is a complete piece of junk. I got it set up and completely staked out but the next morning the wind blew it down and broke two of the frame pieces. Amazon will not allow me to return it, so I am out $49.00.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed, July 10, 2005
This review is from: WeatherRite Fast-Pitch 9- by 9-Foot Four-Person Tent (Sports)
My son bought this tent with his money, and the first time we set it up to see how it worked the outer pull broke. But he still used it the first time to camp. After that first time of camping he now has Three holes in the bottom of the tent and two holes in the side. Very thin material, considering we camp all the time and have had our other tent for 15 years and it has no holes. Now he has a new tent that is duct taped in several places with a broken arm, that probably won't last another two caming trips and is out the money he worked for and saved.
