This professional touch screen weather station is designed for easy everyday use and fits right into any home study of lounge. The indoor base unit displays important current weather information from your own outdoor sensors. The weather center comes with an easy to set-up outdoor sensor suite, which includes mounting brackets and poles. Once assembled this can be positioned in your garden or on your roof for optimum meteorological readings. Love the weather station! Easy to set up just make sure you have a compass on had for North & south. The only reason I gave it a 4 was some of the directions were not very clear. Love the fact you can download it to the computer & track weather in your area.

Great product has been very reliable and accurate. Ownership has been over 1 year and data tracking is very good on the PC. When it's time for technical support, or replacement of your manuals your dead in the water. No help available via their web site

Pleasantly Surprised,

I had a Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station for about three years. Paid about $500 for it. It was nice but after the second year it started quickly using up the expensive Li+ batteries even though it is solar powered. There is a well documented problem with the sensor suite capacitor and they wanted $90 for a replacement board since it was out of warranty. Furthermore, after about 2 and a half years, the outer plastic film covering the solar panel started peeling off. The solar panel replacement is about $30. Point is, this is supposed to be a USA-made reliable professional weather station. Not reliable and I'm not about to feed a money pit. I thought I would just buy the weather-wise for about $120 and see how it worked out. I have not had it long, but I can say I am very impressed with the accuracy and build quality. It may very well have future reliability problems over time like the Davis VP2, but then I'm only out $120. Plus, the weather wise system comes with PC interface and software, something that was an option with the Davis system that cost a lot extra. Davis needs to be a cut above these inexpensive Asian stations if they want to stay in business long term in my opinion.
