This optic's performance is every bit as remarkable as its value. This scope may be economically priced but it has thus far met my expectations. I've consistently shot 1 inch to sub 1 inch groups with this scope at 100 yrads with my Remington 700 .308 sps varmint rifle with my best 3 shot group being a 1/2 inch. This was all done with cheap ammo as well. My only gripes are that this scope has a rather meager eye relief of 3.5 inches and the illuminated reticle is very subtle even at full intensity during normal daylight. The eye relief is still very manageable and there's no necessity for an illuminated reticle to be incredibley bright on an ordinarily sunny day and this reticle does work well in low-light conditions which I'm sure it's originally intended for. Overall I think it's a great scope and given the price as well as performance I see no reason why this should be less than 5 stars. Great buy!

Mounted this on a Rem 700 .308 sps varmint. I was very happy at 100 yrds. Clear, bright, focused, shooting .5 in groups. Held zero over several trips to the range. At 200 yrds there is parallax when scope is focused. Get rid of the parallax and image is no longer clear. Still sub moa groups, but very hard with a blurry target. Pull out windage turret won't stay out anymore. Eye relief is meager at best. "Sweet spot" is very, very small at max magnification, Lots of scope shadow. Turret adjustments are not acurate. To come up 5 in. at 200 yrds should be 10 clicks right?, not with this scope, its 6 clicks. Also clicks do not even line up with marks on the turrets. Weaver makes some very good scopes. This is not one of them. If you want a good long range tactical scope, you are not going to get it at this price range. I will use this until the Leupold Mark 4 I am saving up for gets here. It looks cool, is a fun toy at close range, but is useless if you want to be able to adjust on the fly, or shoot past 100 yrds. I would not buy this again.

I got this scope primarily for the mil dot reticle. I mounted it on a HK91 rifle. I needed a picatinny / Stanag adapter rail to replace the scope in the HK91 claw mount and allow mounting of scope rings. you can find snap on cheek pieces at hkparts.net that would finalize the set up.

The scope is great, the lighted reticle is cool although i do not need it for what i use the scope for. Physical size is a bit large. 30mm tube scopes are significantly larger than the 1 inch tube scope. For the HK91, a scope this size actually becomes clumsy; it becomes top heavy, the charging handle is difficult to access. Not to take away from the quality of the scope. The glass is clear, adjustments are easy without tools; pull out turret to adjust, push in to lock.

The scope gets a 5 for quality, the buyer get a 3 for poor scope to rifle matching.

I put it on my AR15 and I'm very satisfied with the product, it's a little bit heavy but it's not unmanageable. if you're going to put this onto a flat top rail system, I suggest you get a 1" or higher mount for it. You can't do CQB's, but you could try if you chose to, I don't recommend it though. It's more for planking, and long distances; 200+ yards is preferable for best accuracy. It's best recommended for varmint or dangerous game hunting. All in all, it's a good scope and I'd recommend it to my friends.
