Jonni Rich proves herself to be a masterful storyteller. While weaving a tale of gripping suspense, Rich lovingly details the growing love between Sheriff Hal Bailey and widowed elementary teacher, Kylie Ward.
A seemingly senseless kidnapping draws us into scenes of breathtaking mountains and rugged terrain, but also into a story with a sense of fear that is so real, it will make you check the locks on your windows and doors.
Rich's finely crafted page turner will keep the reader's rapt attention until the last page is read. This is a quick read that does not disappoint.
