If you are involved in any aspect of Internet publishing--including owning and operating a web site, providing content, web site development and maintenance, or classroom instruction--then Web Law has information you can use. Developed for the Stanford Professional Publishing Courses, it is designed for professionals who want to use the Internet to its full capacity now.

Like the Web itself, web law is developing rapidly. Take advantage of the knowledge and expertise of the author, who actively practices the law he is writing about. Web Law isn't theoretical; it's a practical guide to Internet law.

Thoroughly updated for 2005, Web Law puts the latest developments right at your fingertips. Plus, with the free CD-ROM, comprehensive index, and detailed table of contents, it's easy to find the information you need. Web Law covers the entire landscape of the Web - First Amendment issues, electronic contracts, domain name disputes, regulation of advertising, data collection and privacy, jurisdiction and tax law, copyright, trademark, trespass, and more!
