Web Photoshop books, in general, tend to be dry and - dare I say it - a little dull. But this book was a revelation. By looking at Photoshop's 'real world' strengths first (it's image manipulation prowess) the user is led by the hand through the creative processes that can be unleashed using Photoshop and it's companion ImageReady. The author has a very lucid style and, helped by the presentation, the book 'flows' really well. It's a book that is equally useful as a textbook and a coffee table book. It's a manual you'll actually enjoy owning! Believe me, it's true!
