WebQuests are a new feature that add functionality and dynamics to the existing units in the student edition. Each WebQuest begins with an introduction and an explanation of the activity. Students get a chance to do research using the Internet. Later, they present their findings to the class or report results in a variety of activities. Activities can last one class period or up to several weeks. These activities can also be done outside of a classroom. Each WebQuest includes links to different Web sites. These sites have been reviewed for content and give students an excellent starting point for doing their research. This booklet contains teaching suggestions and sample answers for evaluating student work on each WebQuest. PROJECTS- This booklet contains twelve projects which each accompany one chapter in Mathematics: Applications and Concepts, course 3. there are lesson references to give guidance as to when each step should be completed.
