What can I say? Weber ROCKS.

I bought this grill about a month ago, and it's been a great conversational piece as well as a great performing grill, the perfect size for making kebobs (and I have long skewers), fish, chicken, corn, and steaks.

Well, in my last review I stated that there were some problems with the lid. Without me ever contacting Weber, Barb Cann (Customer Service member) contacted me about the chips and offered to send me a new lid and a cooking mitt to help with the hot handles.

Weber is a great company that doesn't just listen, but proactively seeks feedback. I have to give complete thanks to Weber for not only providing the best grills in the business, but providing some of the most outstanding customer service of any company I have ever bought from.

I look forward to purchasing the full sized version of this grill after I move. Hopefully this great price will still be available, but I know that no matter what grill I buy in the future, it will be a Weber.

This grill rocks. Apart from being a great conversation piece, it's an "A" class cooking tool, and small and convenient. Only two problems: the paint chips off rather easily, so I'm in search of some touch up paint for the few knicks it's received; and the handles get very very hot, hotter than traditional wooden handles on grills.

But the emblem is stamped in to insure Homer will still be smiling, and believe me when I say that it will draw people from all over to talk some Homer.

I've had one of these at the lake house for 12+ years. It's still going strong. It's easy to store, uses sparing amounts of charcoal, and distributes heat well. VERY durable. I've cooked for an many as 25 people on this thing and routinely cook for 6 to 8. It's as much grill as most people will ever need, it doesn't cost as much as a used car, and the food tastes better than gas-grilled. Great value!

I have owned this size Weber for 10 years. ... This unit has a couple of advantages and one disadvantage over it's black cousin. The advantages are that it is better made and appears to be same finish quality and gauge as the normal large weber. It appears better made than the cousin. The vents are in bottom which is nicer than the sides in the cousin. There is no portable carry handle that snaps the unit closed for transport is the only disadvantage. Great Buy!

This makes a great gift for any Simpsons fan who loves a delicious meal. The best part about it is that it's portable, which makes it an extremely convenient charcoal grill that you can take anywhere. Take it to a family picnic at a park, or simply have a backyard barbecue. Why cook your meals indoors when you can enjoy a nice lunch outside anytime? Buy it for the chef in the family.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new Weber grill. This grill is perfect for my family of four. If we were cooking for a larger group, a bigger grill would be necessary. But this size saves on charcoal use & is easy to store. Weber is by far the best outdoor cooking tool on the market. I also highly recommend the Weber charcoal starter for use with any grill. No more lighter fluid smell & taste. So what if it's got Homer Simpson on it? It's a great grill at a great price.

This grill is perfect for my apartment w/ a small balcony. It fit 4 hotdogs and 4 chicken breasts and cooked them extremely fast! It's perfect for anyone who is cramped for space or can not afford a larger grill.

I already knew that the Smokey Joe was a superior grill; my dad has one...he cooked the family some Omaha Steaks on there and they were to DIE for! I was trying to keep from stealing his...and I almost took it, but then I saw the homer grill! I have been a simpsons fan since they started out on the Tracey Ullman show, so when i saw this i HAD to have it! Needless to say, I am quite happy with it! All of my meat is going on here from now on!!!

I bought this grill as my own Christmas present because I love the Simpsons, and grilling is a must in the summer. I received my grill in perfect condition, and cannot wait to use it. I put it together in 14 minutes, and I am not that handy when it comes to things like this.

These never wear out but I have a habit of giving them away when I move so I've owned a few. It's small but the quality is top notch. ...I just love Homer Simpson... Air control is so good you can shut it down and the charcoal will go out for re-use the next time. I've even smoked ribs and salmon on it using the indirect method with great success. If you are only cooking for two or want a small grill to taking RV'ing this gives you Big Kettle results in a small package. The two person limit is for indirect cooking. Using direct heat you can cook two to six steaks and six to eight burgers depending on size. Do yourself a flavor treat try real lump charcoal and a chunk or chips of wood for smoke when you grill.
