Grilling has become so much easier,
This review is from: Weber 1740301 Summit S-450 Propane Tuck-Away Rotisserie Grill (Lawn & Patio)
This is by far the best grill we have ever purchased. It has become so much easier to prepare for direct or indirect heat for grilling. And the ease with which the grill ignites is fantastic. I initially thought that the grill was not lighting. We would get the ignition flame and when we released the knob to set the temp it seemed as though the flame was going out. The grill was on but it was a very sunny day and the flames were so blue they were hard to see. Love the weight gauge for the propane tank. No more guessing how much fuel is left. This is my "Bucket List" Grill.

Owned too many grills $250-$500 moving every three years...Researched for months... really looking at three burner Weber... Friends Webers lasted and cooked well... First meal was Copper River Salmon at 350 degrees X 10 min per inch... Fantastic...moist... tasted great... grill marks... Preheats to 600 degrees in 12 minutes... Looking forward to seared steaks, rotisserie chicken and roasts... Easy to put together and tested... no leaks found... This will work well even when the snow is falling....

You know, the thing about grills is that you can purchase a new one every year or two because many of them just don't last. This grill on the other hand is awesome and will hopefully last me a long time. I thought about how much money it was and wasn't sure I could spend that much on a grill. Then thought about how many grills I have bought in the past...and realized that hopefully over the next 5 years or so it will pay for itself. Quality is the way to go. It's worth the extra bucks.I've only had it for a little over a year now but have used it many, many times. It's great for big BBQ's. It's a very large grill surface and also the rotisserie, which is a great option! I bought a cover for it that fits very nice (also from Amazon) and has kept it in good shape over the winter. I received the grill only within a few days. The gentlemen that brought it did a great job at getting it up onto my deck. Usually my husband would be doing the assembly, but I couldn't wait to get it together and he wasn't home when it was delivered. So I broke it open and within 45 minutes I had it all put together. Pretty simple! Great Grill!!

Great Choice. I recommend it to anyone. As a long time charcoal griller, I am able to use this grill to do everything I could do with charcoal, plus a lot more.

My husband has cooked on it almost every night for months...we love it and meat tastes awesome. The rotisserie is easy to use and does what it's supposed to. We are glad we spent the extra money for the quality!!

Ordered the product on a Sunday evening, received it the following Wednesday. Living within a 250 mile radius of the shipping company's warehouse probably helped. Arrived on a pallet, delivered right to my garage. Some assembly required but no problem doing so. Instructions were easy to follow. This grill is all that is advertised to be AND MORE. Have cooked steaks, chickens, and fish, all with no problem. I have owned other grills but none that are as efficient as this Weber grill. I am sure that this grill will easily give me many years of outdoor cooking enjoyment.

This grill is AWSOME. After getting tired of buying a nice looking grill every 3 years and watching it turn to a pile of rust , I decided to bite the bullet and get a weber. Just looking at this grill (and lifting it) you can tell it should last 15 years. Did I mention this grill is awsome? Great heat management. I can get it to 700 for searing within 10 minutes or slow cook at a steady 300. I love the separate smoke box. So simple to use for those delicious smokey flavors. I have yet to use the built in rotisserie and infrared burner. But use the side burner regularly to boil water (quick) or to create a tasty red wine demi-glaze to top the perfectly seared filets. The grill light while somewhat quirky is helpful. I actually bought another to really light up the whole beautiful stainless steel cooking surface. I've cooked all kinds of steaks, grilled pizza, all types of veggies, sweet potato fries, and slow roasted chicken. Just last week I grilled the most delicious chilean sea bass. All meals were perfect. (I give the chef 1/2 the credit) No hot or cool spots, unless you create them yourself by dialing down one or more of the burners using the big solid knobs. All in all, I am very impressed. I did buy the weber cover to keep the beautiful stainless clean of bird droppings, sap, etc. but it's not necessary to prevent rust, this grill is made almost entirely of 403 stainless steel. Did I mention this grill is awsome? Buy one! Update August 1; After using this grill almost daily since purchase I still love it but recognize the design flaw others on the internet have mentioned. On one occasion I failed to put the cover on after using and it rained. Actually it poured, and the rain ran right into the grill accumulating in the grease tray. This rain/grease mixture quickly filled up and poured all over the inside of the grill and all the items I had stored in the cabinet. Very nasty. If you get this grill you WILL love it but NEVER FORGET TO PUT THE COVER ON.

Great Grill, Small Wheels and Minor Quality Issue,
By
This review is from: Weber 1740301 Summit S-450 Propane Tuck-Away Rotisserie Grill (Lawn & Patio)
Pros: Well constructed, easy to assemble, Great Heat, Separate Smoker box/burner, convenient rotisserie, good solid usable side burner, delivered when they said it would beCons: Small wheels only good for flat hard surface, Light was broken out of the box, delivery company won't take it to back of house or take it up steps of a deck I ordered the Weber s-450 at Amazon and it was delivered on time. It was delivered when only my wife was home and they put it in our garage. Since it comes on a plastic custom designed pallat, you can't really move it until you get it put together. It is VERY heavy and the small wheels are useless on the grass. It took my wife and I a long time to maneuver it out to our deck and I had to get two other guys to help me lift it up 3 steps to our deck. Once there, assembly was simple although instructions were not entirely clear in a few places. When I installed batteries found that the led light that goes on the handle didn't work. Something is rattling inside so looks like it didn't survive the logistics. I haven't tried to get it replaced yet. We hooked it up via a junction box to our large LP tank that fuels my inside stove and it fired up. The heat when all 4 burners are engaged is great. Used the separate smoker box and burner and they worked great. The smoker takes up some space taking away from grill space but it is big enough that it isn't an issue for us. I haven't used the rotisserie yet but it is very simple and handy. The gas burner on the side has a good BTU rating and will allow us to boil water (for corn) which is all we use it for. I bought the custom cover and it fits great and protects the grill from the elements.

We love this grill, and it looks nice on our patio. It was heavy but manageable- it took 3 of us to get it out of the truck (but could definitely be done with two strong people--we bought it at a store, not on amazon).
