The Summit S-450 gas grill is equipped with a 12,000 Btu flush-mount side burner for preparing trimmings and hors d'oeuvres. Add wood chips to the 8,000 Btu smoker and pop a fillet into the stainless steel box to serve smoked salmon with those grill-baked oysters. The unit's 10,600 Btu infrared rotisserie burner cooks roasts and poultry perfectly even through and through. It also keeps things warm while other victuals finish grilling.
The Summit features a stainless steel enclosed cart with chrome-plated cast aluminum handles. A painted steel frame and stainless steel shroud with polished handle and trim will shimmer brightly on the patio or deck. And, a center-mounted thermometer makes it easy to monitor temperatures. The main cooking system, rated at 48,800 Btu's, includes 4 stainless steel burners and Weber's Snap-Jet Individual-burner ignition system for optimal fuel efficiency. The cooking grates feature 9-1/2-milimeter stainless steel rods for unsurpassed durability. Weber's porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars eliminate grease-fueled flare-ups that often occur with standard lava rocks and ceramic briquettes. Fats and juices are vaporized when they hit the angled bars and quickly sizzle away, adding delicious, smoky barbecue flavor rather than fueling cauterizing flames. The primary cooking area measures 538 square inches. The warming rack area measures 112 square inches for a total cooking area of 650 square inches.
Other features include a spit fork rotisserie attachment with heavy-duty motor, 2 stainless steel work surfaces, Weber's Grill Out lighted handle, 6 tool holders, enclosed tank storage and precision fuel gauge, 2 heavy-duty front locking casters and 2 heavy-duty back swivel casters. Summit S-450,

Weber thought of everything with this one. 15-min tops to asssemble. The hardest thing was getting it out of the box, which is packaged beautifully. This is the most solid Weber grill I have ever seen, and I expect to not have to see another for a long time. Heats fast and even. Has all the bells and whistles. The only trouble I had was when I told my wife it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Also, don't order the grill cover that Amazon suggests for the grill. The correct one is Model #9988.
