5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job
What can I say. It does exactly what its supposed to do. I own the Weber Q 220. Perfect size brush for a smallish grill. If you own a bigger grill you may want something with a longer handle.

1.0 out of 5 stars Junk
I thought by purchasing the genuine Weber product I would get a quality item. Too bad it is not made in the USA like the Baby Q grill which works very well. 2 pushes with this brush and 3-4 tufts of brass wire fell out. I lightly pulled on a couple of others tufts and they came right out. A waste of money...straight to the garbage. Weber should be embarrassed to sell...

Update - I emailed by Amazon invoice to Weber and they sent me a replacement which seems better.

This grille cleaning brush works like a charm. Makes it easy to clean enough the toughest, stuck on food. Highly recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice brush, wears a bit too quick, March 4, 2011

This is a nice brush. It wears kind of quickly, but that's to be expected because the bristles are a soft metal so they won't scratch the grill surface. However, it's inexpensive, so buying a new one isn't a big deal. Be sure to remove the scraper as soon as you buy it, to remove the temptation of using it. Those things murder your grill surface. I use the brush as soon as I take the food off the grill, and the brush is all you need when you do it that way.

3.0 out of 5 stars Brass bristles are easily clogged, September 4, 2009

This brush works well for awhile, but its brass bristles become easily clogged with grill grease and grit, and the bristles can't be cleaned effectively. Once they're smashed and glued together with gunk, that's it. I really like the little prong on the end that fits over the individual wires of the grate for extra scraping action, so I keep the brush around for that. After the first grilling season, though, it was pretty useless as an actual brush.

First of all, my bad...I ordered the 12" and it's too short! Once the grill's been on for a while and the gunk is softened that's when I prefer cleaning but with this length my hand's a little closer to the heat than I like! Another disappointment is the bristles. They scrunched down almost flat after just a couple of cleanings. I tried not scraping with as much force but then the cooking surface didn't get totally clean so I reverted back to using a firmer touch. I use "PAM for Grilling" each and every time and clean the surface before each use so it's not all that gunky or has a lot of build up! I think the wire bristles should be a bit firmer in order to withstand some pressure without flattening down. Not impressed and expected better quality from Weber.

I bought countless amount of grill brushes, and I've had problems with all of them losing the wires as I use them. I have yet to see one wire fall out of this one.

Purchased this with my Weber Q grill(which is GREAT!), brush though could be better.
It needs to have longer bristles, I have difficulty cleaning the grates thoroughly on the Q.

3.0 out of 5 stars It brushes and scrapes, but wood cracked, December 3, 2010

It scrapes fine, but after first use, the wood cracked a bit at the head. Fearing loss of the bristles, I put wood glue into the cracks and then clamped it. Seems to be ok now.

2.0 out of 5 stars No worth it, November 22, 2010
This review is from: Weber 6421 12-Inch Grill Brush and Scraper (Lawn & Patio)
Each time i cleaned the grill with this brush, a row of metal wires left off. After 4 rows have fallen out, the rest seems to stay in place. I would not buy again.
