1.0 out of 5 stars Losing bristles just like the cheap brushes.
I bought this expensive brush to replace a cheap-o that started leaving wire bristles all over my grill. After a couple months this one is losing bristles faster than the one it replaced. Save your money.

Get's the job done. Good design, sturdy, easy to handle. Long enough to use when the grill's really hot without having to worry about burning your hand. The scrapers on the sides are an added bonus since they're designed to fit over the individual grates on Weber grills -- for burnt-on remnants, can scrape the grates clean fairly quickly and easily.

Very worthwhile purchase. Wish I had bought one sooner.

This brush truly is heavy-duty, and the curve of the handle is ergonomic. The bristles are strong, and yet flexible. I haven't even had to use the scraper part (at the top). Great buy!

This grill brush is a breeze to use. It works really well compared to the other brands that were suggested by others when I purchased my weber grill. I love it!

This thing is incredibly heavy duty.

As soon as I got it out of the box, I thought to myself, "if a rouge raccoon sneaks up on me while I'm grilling, I'm lunging for this brush...". In all honesty, this thing is heavy, durable, very well designed, stylish, and features a head full of bristles that can't be compared to anything that you can find at your local 'big box' mart.

The head change out system is VERY simple and VERY efficient although, I doubt, I'll use the scouring pad very often.

As one would expect from a $25 grill brush, this thing is top quality -- from Weber, of course.

Buy it. You'll love it... now, if I can find replacement heads for this thing (because they will wear out), I'll be SET! :)

UPDATE October 2010: Still using this brush and LOVE IT. We grill out WEEKLY (year round) and I use the brush. It's holding up great. GET ONE! :)

I had reservations about the stainless steel brush because I have porcelain grates on my Grill but as it turned out the bristles aren't that stiff so they don't seem to damage the porcelain. The replaceable head is especially nice. Brush has a good feel and works very well.

I purchased this Weber branded grill brush to go to town on my Weber Genesis E320 that has stainless steel guts. You'd think that one of the two little round cutouts would match the radius of Weber's own grill but you'd be as wrong as I am if you thought that. However, all is not lost, after all Weber's grill brush did come with a stainless steel brush so as to get medieval on the baked on goo stuck to my stainless grills, right? Wrong. While the brush is stainless thereby suggesting goo wrenching toughness, the bristles themselves are as soft as to comb your mother's hair. As such, furious scrubbing ends with arm fatigue and the baked on goo becoming shiny. All in all pass on this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny!! Don't waste your time or money on a cheap brush, May 31, 2010

This review is from: Weber 6448 Style Heavy-Duty Grill Brush (Lawn & Patio)
I purchased a new Weber summit grill recently and after using it for the first time I realized I needed a new grill brush as the old brush was for porcelain grates. So I ran over to a local big box store and I picked up a "deluxe" store brand model for $9.00. The handle broke before I was done cleaning the grill for the first time. And some of the steel bristles had fallen out, and the scouring pad had disintegrated. So I did some research and I found this brush. It is expensive but definitely worth the price. I love how the cleaning heads are interchangeable between the bristles and the scouring pad. You just depress a steel plate and the pads slide right out. The bristle pad is jam packed with bristles which is the complete opposite of the store brand. And the scouring pad has held up well after about 10 uses so far. I also picked up the replacement heads just as a stand by but I don't think I will need them for quite some time. All and all the brush is great and will stand the abuse I will dish out all year long. You could spend less but make sure you keep your receipt so when it breaks you can return it and then buy this brush.

2.0 out of 5 stars The Bristles Fall Out, April 25, 2010

Sure, it's a lot to pay for a grill brush, but it REALLY works. I especially like the cleaning pad that can be used in place of the brush. And if you happen to be attacked by a hungry varmit this brush would be a good weapon - it's heavy. UPDATED A YEAR LATER: The stainless steel bristles come out of the brush and could get into whatever you're cooking. I still use the cleaning pad, but have quit using the brush. I contacted Weber and they no longer had this brush in stock, but they did send me another model brush.
