This fit my new style Performer grill perfectly. Doesn't blow off in the wind, either. One small issue is that rain water will pool on top of it over the counter part of the grill. Mosquitoes will breed in this water pool. Try putting something on top of the counter, like a small plate, then cover the grill. The plate will tent up the cover, making the water run off.

Even though the product description says that it fits 2005 and newer grills, I can verify that it fits my 1999-era Weber 761001 22 1/2-Inch One-Touch Platinum Charcoal Grill, Black just fine. After 14 years, the original Weber cover that I bought was stiff and cracked and falling apart from exposure to the sun, rain, and snow of Wisconsin, so it was high time to replace it.

After so many years, I had forgotten just how flexible the fabric on the cover was. It's much easier to get the cover on an off when it hasn't shrunk and gotten stiff from age! It does have a tendency to balloon in a wind, so putting a piece of firewood on the top will keep the cover from blowing off and landing somewhere downwind.

There are two things I would change about this cover:

1) a vent of some kind at the top, so that the wind would flow throw instead of ballooning it, or alternately, some clips or velcro straps to secure it to the grill legs. I might add some grommets and velcro straps to do just that.

2) a change in the sewing pattern or something that would keep the part that covers the table from becoming a puddling spot for water. I would guess this ages the vinyl prematurely, plus it collect dirt and debris which makes it get dirty easier, and if left for an extended period of time, the puddle of water could attract mosquitos. I think I can get around this by putting something on the table before covering it so that the cover tents over it and makes the rain runoff instead of puddling.

Overall, I think it was worth the extra money to buy a Weber-branded cover. It's made well and it fits the grill perfectly.

I am happy with this cover. It fits perfectly on my 2008 Weber Performer model #848001 which is the dark blue model. No problems with the fit. We get very high winds in the winter, and so far have not had any super bad winds, but I've had good luck so far by simply placing a couple of vinyl tipped metal construction spring clips at apposing corners around the legs of the Performer. I can't see how it could blow off with the 2 clips in place. When I take it off to use the Performer, I simply fold it up loosely and put it in the fold out charcoal hamper with my bag of charcoal. Seems well made. No Problems. I recommend it.

If you have the new style Weber this cover fits like a glove.
Since this item has a table that is flat, I put a piece of foam
on the table so rain runs off the cover.
The cover won't stay sloped like the picture, rain will flatten the cover.
It does not leak, but I'm sure after a year or two you may have to put
water repellent on like thy use on tents, if that matters to you.

A year later, 6/3/2012, it steal works like new, no leaks. It's been out all this time.
11/20/2015, no leaks and it's been out all the time but it is getting a little stiff. I never did put water repellent on.

It fits like a glove--which is too say, too snug. I cannot just plop it on... you have finesse it and get the edges on and then gradually pull all the sides down. Almost like getting on a tight pair of jeans. Wish this cover had a loose fit and if I could do it over again, I would get a generic one that I could put on faster and easier.

This cover seems very durable and fits nicely. My only complaint is it tends to allow pooling of rain over the work surface area of the grill. I fixed this by placing a plastic tub on the table before I put the cover on. the tub can also serve as additional storage. The cover is very attractive. I would rate it 5 stars except for the rain pooling.

This cover fits like a glove on my weber. I bought a cover for my grill four and a half years ago and it needed to be replaced as the Arizona sun really is hard on this product. I was happy with it before so I bought the same one again. I did notice that this cover is a little thinner and a different material that is more flexable. It also does not have the valcro fasteners at the bottom but I don't think they where needed anyway. Hope it holds up as good as the last. My grill still looks new and I use it a lot.

update: This time the cover only lasted 2 1/2 years. I knew the cover seemed to go down in quality from the first one I bought. Now I am wondering if the next one is going to be worse. It is apparent Weber is cutting corners not making me happy. I not sure what to do next.

Right off the bat, this cover is for 2005 and newer grills. The picture Amazon has provided (as of the time of this writing) does not correctly depict the actual item. I've added a picture with the correct item on a newer Performer grill.

I also have a Weber 3780001 Genesis S-320 Gas Grill with a Weber 7553 Premium Cover, and was expecting this cover to be of similar quality. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

While the cover fits well over the Performer, it isn't quite "to the wheels", which leaves anything you might have on the bottom rack of the cart exposed to the elements.

More disappointing, though, is that there's nothing in the cover to secure it to your grill. There have been some strong winds here lately, and while nothing's blown the cover off entirely, a decent gust of wind will make it hop up a good 5" or more if you don't put a brick or similarly heavy object on the work space.

Frankly, for that this cover costs, you shouldn't have to do that. It's basically the same price as the Genesis cover, which has velcro straps. While the Performer doesn't have a design that makes those type of straps practical, at the very least, they could have stitched in a few weights, or straps to let you secure the cover to the bottom rack of the cart.

I've purchased a few grills with covers, and countless Weber and Weber Style accessories, but this is the first Weber product I've bought where I felt kind of ripped off.
