With its impressive roster of features and durable stainless steel construction, the Summit Platinum line represents the peak of gas-grill performance. It has a 44,000-BTU primary burner, along with an additional 12,000-BTU, commercial-grade side burner to heat side dishes and sauces while meat grills. Four rust-resistant stainless steel burners run the length of the cookbox for even heating without hot or cold spots. Infinitely-adjustable burner valves let you cook with direct or indirect heat. To get you started, the electronic Crossover ignition system lights all burners in succession with the push of a button.
A spacious 700 square inches of total cooking area provides enough room to cook for large groups and includes a convenient warming rack--great for keeping already-cooked foods warm or toasting hamburger buns. A handy warm-up basket is perfect for grilling easily-burned foods like fish or vegetables. The stainless steel hood has double-wall construction, adding a layer of insulation to trap heat and protect against discoloration. Rugged, weather-resistant wheels are crack-proof in the most extreme temperatures and allow easy transport, while locking casters prevent the grill from rolling while you cook. Awesome, I got the grill I wanted. Worth the extra Cash! No issues with delivery and building took around two hours, just take your time and read. Really enjoy the extra space and being able to have more control over tempertaure with four seperate controls, makes grilling for eight easy! ( this encludes the whole meal!)

This grill has turned our outdoor patio into a gourmet kitchen. A highlight for my husband has to be the overall cooking surface is huge. He is able to load the right side with veggies and the left side with meat, toss on buns if needed and still have room. The warmer rack keeps things hot without the extra cooking time. My husband swears the meat taste better and there is no question the grill looks "Hot" on our deck. Weber also has great grilling tips on their web site. I just tested out my favorite grilled asparagus. You lightly roll the fresh asparagus in olive oil and rock salt, grill lightly and serve, How much easier can it get.
