Amazon Verified Purchase
Goes without say that cooking on stainless steel is great for non-stick, easy cleaning and no special maintenance unlike the cast-iron grates which needs to be seasoned. So if your like me who just want to go to the grill and turn it on and throw some meat on it, the Stainless steel grates is what you are looking for. It's also very light if you want to bring them in and clean them in your kitchen compare to the Porcelain and Cast Iron Grates. My only problem was that some of my bars on the grates have started to come apart at the weld. I've called Weber's customer service and they said they did have a problem with a batch and would replace my set.

I recently gave my Weber Genesis a facelift with all new parts. While Weber is obviously a quality product Amazon must be commended for bringing these products to the public at reasonable prices.
Prior to this purchase I bought the stainless steel drip bars for my grill at Sears. (ALWAYS get the SS) With a storewide 10% off AND an additional coupon they allowed me to use I still paid 45 cents more than an Amazon purchase.
I only relate this story because I am the last of the online buyers. Resisted this method for years. But Amazon has yet to fail me in the last 6-9 months on any order. And while 45 cents is no big thing it certainly is more convenient to go to the door for a FedEx delivery than shop at Sears.
So...great product, great price, and great online service. What more can you ask for?

Very nice grates

Perfect but I had to cut to fit
These were perfect but I had to cut them to fit my Charbroil Commercial Grill which I can't seem to find the grills for. These were 1/4 too long. Read more

make great replacements for other brands of 17" grills
17" long sections. I used these to replace cheapo porcelain grates in my Brinkman 6 burner. Super upgrade.

Replacement grates for Weber, but I used for Thermos/Charbroil grill
These replacement grates, while stainless steel, are not solid rods of metal like most grates but are instead tented metal, with a dull finish. Read more
