39.99 for a thermometer!? You are better off buying one from a restaurant supply shop and pay under 12.00. Hope this price is an ERROR!

Doesn't mount on standard BBQs,

This product is nice but will not mount on standard BBQs that use a thread back. I have no way of mounting it. Home Depot hardware had nothing that I could utilize. I should have bought the standard thermometer replacement at Home Depot for under $8.00. I have inquired about returning this product, but have received no reply. I guess I have a really nice worthless thermometer.
