I can count on one hand the good orchestral pieces which feature a clarinet, and I wish I would have known that back when I picked the licorice stick for my musical instrument of choice in grade school. So you can appreciate my pleasure at finding this recording. Even though Carl Maria Von Weber has about the same dates as Beethoven, his works seem just a bit more modern. And, Ms. Kam is no slouch in realizing the pieces. Don't start a search for this disc, but if you trip over it, it's worth picking up.
