Product Description

Enhance your next barbecue meal with unique flavors produced by the Weber Genesis EP-330â"¢ LP Gas Grill (Crimson), a grill that adds bold, smoky flavor to your meats and vegetables. The Weber Genesis LP gas grill comes with stainless steel Flavorizer bars, which keep meat drippings away from burner tubes to reduce flare-ups. The bars vaporize drippings, adding smoky flavor to your food. The 38,000 BTU-per-hour main burners distribute heat evenly, eliminating hot or cold spots that make grilling more challenging. Weber designs its manifolds and burner tubes to use less gas than standard grills. At the same time, this unique design cooks food faster than regular barbecues, saving you time and money. Porcelain-enameled, cast-iron cooking grates also help distribute heat more evenly. The electronic ignition makes for easy lighting. Front-mounted controls provide convenient access. The

Two things before I start. I'm a Verified Purchaser of this Weber EP-330 & I rated the seller Acme Tools; 5-Stars for prompt/excellent service & delivery.

I received this grill 2-days ago, I've assembled it and cooked on it (I will get to assemble/performance at the end), first however, this rating is purely based on this product's "Crimson" color. Weber enhances their pictures and I feel it must be told. I purchased this grill mainly on it's stunning appearance from the pictures on websites, their catalog and the multiple stickers that are on the outside of the Weber Genesis box.

This grill doesn't even come close to the pictures they're marketing. Weber does this to all their colors. Green, Copper, Tan and especially Crimson. I honestly feel if Weber employees purchased a Fire Engine Red car from Detroit via their website, catalogs or brochures and their vehicle arrived Rusty Dull Red... they'd be upset too, or if they purchased a brand new gleaming white wedding dress for their daughter and it arrived Beige or Banana Yellow... they would not be pleased. Photo-shopping/Enhancing is a trick sellers use on a certain unnamed auction website.

Weber knows what they're doing so much so you can no longer even find the color Crimson on their website. I just wanted users to understand the product picture you're looking at is NOT the color you're receiving and I don't fault Acme or Ace or all the others that use this stock photo because it's exactly the picture that's all over the side of Weber's box.

I read reviews online but not all and I am now seeing others post the color doesn't even come close. My friend has a 1963 Chevy that's covered in primer and this color matches his car way more than the pictures Weber provides.

My EP-330 LP Genesis arrived in the box and strapped to a wooden pallet. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the main components were boxed individually and everything else is well protected from damage with plenty of cardboard baffles and such. Weber has gone to the extreme to assure that this product survives shipping!
All of this being said, when I unboxed everything I discovered my porcelean drip pan and my right side stainless steel shelf were virtually destroyed and yet nicely boxed and packaged! These components were most definately damaged in the factory and went right past their quality control people. I called Weber CS and they were appologetic and sent me replacement parts via 2 day shipping. A week later, after my second cook, I discovered a three inch crack had developed on the side wall of the cast aluminum grill body itself! Again, I called Weber and they are sending a replacement but I will have to disassemble 40% of the grill to replace it!
So, if you are still reading this you're thinking that the Weber Genesis is all junk and hype, right?
Well, NO, not exactly. The fact is that Weber gas grills have the lowest repair rate in their price range. One number I read was like 1.8% repair rate compared to 20% and higher for their nearest competitors. The Genesis line really is a great product. Add to the fact that they offer great customer service and provide a strong warranty. I just have rotten luck! LOL

The grill itself is truely elegant in it's own right. The styling, materials, and build quality speak for themselves. You will experience a fantastic fit and finish and a genuine feeling that you have a product that will last.

Received our Crimson Genesis EP-330 today. After 10 yrs. The old Weber Summit just needed to many new parts to make worth while to repair. The Crimson color is unique, not available on Weber's web sight. Looks more like brown to me, but complements the Redwood stained deck nicely. Priced locally at $850 assembled. Ordered it here for $799 with no sales tax, for a savings of $98.00. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to assemble.

Just got this grill 2 days ago and I'm very excited. After studying up on A TON of grills for the last year, I had my sights on this one. for $850, this is an amazing grill. This grill is solid and I believe it will last for 20+ years!

Putting it together took me about 2.5 - 3 hours, wouldn't have taken so long but my 2 year old was "helping." I think it would normally take about 2 hours to put together. The instructions were mainly pictures but still quite simple to follow, just took a bit of time. They packaged this very well, nothing was damaged, bent, or scratched!

After setup, I turned it on to see what it could do. In 15 minutes (timed) it reached 650 degrees on the dial. It didn't get much hotter that that, even with the sear station going but I think it only (as if it needs to get hotter) got that hot because it was very windy and only 40 degrees outside. Later in the day I cooked some chicken and veggies, for a 3 burner grill this still has quite a bit of grilling space. After cooking, I turned on the burners full blast again to clean off the food a bit and it got past 725 degrees on the dial. In fact that's way hotter than any grill I've used before. I'd recommend wearing an oven mitt or something when cleaning the grates cause it's just that hot. Also, I left my favorite cutting board on the side work area, right next to the lid, and it melted! I was pretty scared that I had ruined the grill after 1 cookout. The cutting board lost a half an inch along the side closest to the lid. With a paint scraper, I easily scraped off the melted plastic, though, and it didn't even scuff or scratch it. Watch out for that is all!

This grill is very easy to use, strong, sturdy.
