After a month of use this cover is already ripping in a couple of places. Great grill, lousy cover.

Stay away from early rev of this cover,

I'm rating this product a 5 stars under the belief this is a later rev of the product. The earlier rev is thin and does not have velcro straps to secure the bottom. Without the straps, the cover will blow off in slightly windy situations (cover is very light).How do I know this? I bought the earlier rev. It blew off and the corner of the grill tore the cover. Fortunately, Weber's customer service is outstanding and probably aware of the poor design. As a result, they sent me a later rev free of charge (no shipping charges to/from). The new rev had the design flaws corrected and is top quality. Would definitely recommend the cover. It keeps the dirt, etc off the grill. Also, it's ventilated. Although the grill is mostly stainless steel and plastic, don't want the other parts to rust.

I have an older Genesis Platinum, and it's been very hard to find a cover that fits. This works, and is of very high quality. Also, Ed Young's is a great place to deal with!
