A Cook's Dream,
By Barbara S. Pearlman "Barbara" (Walled Lake, MI USA) - See all my reviews

We have had the Weber EP 320 for about 3 weeks now and it is a dream. It is our fourth grill. The last two grills have been Weber's and they were our favorites. We were so thrilled with our last Weber (the Genesis Silver) and wanted to repeat the experience with a larger cooking surface.
Our old Weber never needed repairs but we are comforted by the fact that the Weber Grills are modular and you can inexpensively replace any needed part. We have put our new grill through its paces these past few weeks cooking fish, pork, steak and vegetables. I used the side burner to heat the sauce. It holds the temperature beautifully, is easy to clean and easy to use. You won't regret buying this product.

Great barbeque,

I purchased my Weber Genesis EP-320 a couple of months ago and it has been amazing. Very good quality construction and build materials, great cooking versatility, but kind of expensive. Hopefully it will last 10 or more years. With the stainless steel cooking grates and flavorizers I expect to not have to replace them for the life of the grill, unlike the cast iron. We will see.

I had actually used one of these grills previously at my parents home so I knew what I was getting myself into. First of all, if you don't know what a nut, bolt and washer is, you may want to go to Wal-Mart and by a ready made P.O.S. unit that'll last you 2 years. If you do know what those are then jump in, buy this grill and start assembling. It took me about 1.5 hours to assemble the unit, using a 7/16" nut driver, box end wrench and a large and medium phillips screw driver. After completing assembly I put a coat of Adams Machine Super Wax on the entire unit. Ok I know you're asking yourself; "Why the hell would he wax it?" Well I wax anything that's able to be waxed. Especially when it costs me 650 bucks. It'll protect the unit even if and especially if you have it under a cover sitting in the elements. Once a year will suffice. So far I've cooked with it 3 times. First time was sliced sweet potatoes and a couple of filets, 2nd time was Juicy Lucy's and some sliced potatoes and just last night it was the wife and I, so we had a couple of chicken breasts.
The cast iron grill grates are TOTALLY worth the upgrade from the Spirit lines enameled steel ones. IMO they distribute the heat much more evenly. Overall a VERY good experience. Christopher from Iowa

This is a great grill that heats up quick, and gets very hot for good searing. Use nice thick steaks!
