As with all Webkinz, the enjoyment a child has with a stuffed animal is multiplied with the addition of the Webkinz website. With this website, the child can interact with their stuffed animal by taking care of it. There are also educational and fun games that can be played to get "money" for their own little Webkinz world.

The Black Lab is a great addition to the Webkinz family. It is decently sized and its fur is very soft and "silky". I thought the leathery nose was very clever. The Black Lab is worth the money not just because it is a nicely made stuffed animal, but because it has that added fun factor of the Webkinz world.

I bought this Black Lab for my five year old grandaughter. She has a real black lab and the plush gives her one to travel with. The plush is very soft and well made. It is literally like having two toys in one since it is a Webkinz and comes with the "secret" code to use on the Webkinz website. She has hours of age appropriate virtual play with her puppy on the website, is developing and reinforcing cognitive skills and has a buddy to carry around with.

I didn't even know anything about this toy (I am stationed overseas) but I ordered it online for my god-daughter's birthday because it was a best-seller on Amazon. She typically gets dozens of presents, and I later learned that this one is her favorite!

For those who may not know, Webkinz are stuffed animals that come with a virtual counterpart that you can tend to online. The Webkinz world also includes games and other activities that will keep children busy for hours. There is also virtual money kids can use to buy pet food and other supplies. The site is also appealing since it is not related to a particular TV network. It also does not bombard children with promotions for DVDs, other shows, or products.

It goes without saying that if you have convictions against excessive screen time, this probably isn't the stuffed animal for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a fun activity your children can do independently, this is a lot of fun. (parents might even enjoy it too)

The Labrador Retriever is one of the rarest Webkinz around. (except for Cheeky Dog, Cheeky Cat, Love Puppy, and Sherbet Bunny) Everyone on Webkinz World is itching to get their hands on one. (even me) Although I don't quite have it or the Dalmatain, I have $25 stored for whenever they come out at my local store where Webkinz are sold.

It's a cute toy with a huge bonus, your kid can stare for hours online playing with their pet and various games on the webkinz site. The site has never had an issue or gone down in the 2 weeks we have owned this product, and the toy itself seem durable and nicely made. We were very happy to get this quickly and my kid is excited to have it.

Here's a hint when buying Webkinz: Unless it is retired (Cheeky dog and cat, Unicorn, Gray and White cat) or Seasonal (Love Puppy and Sherbet Bunny), then don't spend over $15. Look on the web and you'll see the Dalmatian for sale for over $50. I waited and got it for the usual $13.50 at my local Hallmark! I advise you to spend your money when it comes out. (I do have the Dalmatian, for all who truly care)

I've got nineteen Webkinz and they all ROCK. Everyone wants more and more. I don't think this trend will ever die. Ganz company makes millions of dollars every week, allowing them to continue their fragile but fun business. Every day, more markets demand an extra order of Webkinz to sell. Toy companies try to compete with these master-peices of fun, but none have succeeded. That brings us to 'Shining Stars'. I have two and they're awesome. BUT, I MUST admit, Webkinz last longer and they are more accurate. Ganz makes more money than ever every year, and, with that money, they are able to make wonderous expansions to their fabulous website otherwise known as 'Webkinz World'.

I ordered four webkinz online and two of them had wrong codes and could not be registered online at the website. That is the whole point of the toy. I will never order these online again and would warn people that you never know what you'll get. It was a total letdown.

I gave this as a gift to my 8 year old sister, she loves it. The stuffed animal tends to fall apart quickly, but the toy is more about the online games that they can play with their friends.
