All three of my children just love Webkinz. They love the adorable little stuffed animals, and they really enjoy using the code to access the Webkinz website and play together online. With Christmas coming up, my wife and I wanted to purchase a Webkinz for each one of our children, as a stocking stuffer. My youngest daughter adores cats, so when my wife and I found the Webkinz Himalayan Cat here on Amazon, we just knew our daughter would love it.

Now then, I would like to ask you to look carefully at the picture posted here on the Amazon product page. Notice how fluffy and cute this cat looks. Now, please take a look at the product picture that I posted in the "Customer Images". This is what my wife and I actually received in the mail from the retailer. Now ask yourself, does that look even moderately cute? The Webkinz Himalayan Cat we received looks like some sort of possessed junkyard cat! The hair is all stringy and tangled, the tail is not fluffy at all, and the overall feel of the cat is not even moderately soft. My wife feels that she can somehow comb out all of the knots and tangles, so she doesn't want me to send it back for a refund. I sure hope she can make this cat look far better than it did when it arrived, because I definately will not give this item to my daughter the way it looks now. It is honestly one of the ugliest, scariest looking stuffed animals I have ever seem in my life!

I am still giving this toy two stars, because of the included tag that has a code for accessing the Webkinz website. The animal itself may be an ugly mess, but at least my daughter will get a code to enjoy a year of playing with a virtual pet on Webkinz. I feel that the makers of these Webkinz animals should package them in some sort of box or other package, which would prevent the hair from getting so matted and tangled in the stores and during shipping.

So in the end I guess we are keeping the Webkinz Himalayan Cat, at least for the use of the Webkinz access code. However, I would certainly not purchase this particular animal again, and I do not recommend it to anyone. If you think the product photo of the Himalayan Cat looks cute, as my wife and I did, be warned that there is a good chance you will be getting something that looks more like the customer image photo I have posted. Webkinz produces some very cute animals, and there are a lot of better choices than this cat. =o(

The Webkinz Himalayan Cat was worth the purchase. My daughter loves it. She really wanted this cat and takes it everywhere with her. I would recommend this Webkinz.

Great product, very fast delivery and it came with the sought after "secret code" so you can register it on-line and adopt the pet and play interactive games and activities. I couldn't have asked for more.

I thought the photo of the cat was much nicer than the actual animal. The fur was not that soft and snuggly fur I prefer but instead the rather stiff bristled type that doesn't feel that nice. I wouldn't have bought this one if I had actually seen or felt it first.

Our family loves playing Webkinz together. We all have several Webkinz pets and interact/play with each other (my young daughters LOVE being able to play computer games with both their parents and siblings all at once!) Webkinz is not as educational as Jump Start but it is fun and still provides some eduction and responsibility training to children of ALL ages. We enjoy playing with our children. Webkinz is highly recommended. Unfortunately, this particular plush is not as sturdy as the rest. It's "fur" falls out just from touch, other than that, no problems.

My Granddaughter was just thrilled to get this miniature imitation of her own beloved cat, she's been carrying it everywhere with her.

This stuffed animal looked NOTHING like the cute little kitty shown on the website. It arrived in a box that was too small and it was squished. I thought I could comb it and make it look better. Unfortunately there was no helping this animal which looked like road-kill(and it had nothing to do with the packaging as originally thought). It was not a cuddly stuffed animal, it was hard, the fur looked like a toddler got hold of a scissors and gave it a haircut and the tail and ears seemed like they were sowen on as an afterthought. I was very thankful I had it shipped to my home rather than sending it direcly to my niece who would have been horrified that I would give her such an awful gift.

I had long awaited to get me my very own Himilayan kitty cat! I finally got one over Christmas time. :D I havent officially adopted it yet...but it is just cuddly and adorable!

It can be hard to dress it though...

I have 36 Webkinz right now. This cat is my least favorite Webkinz that I own. I got it from my best friend at my birthday party, of course I put on a smile, said thanks, and hugged them. It was hard to know what to think whether to be grossed out, sad, mad, or laughing towards this cat. I mean the thing looks evil. It had matted, frizzy hair that covered it's whole face except the eyes which was freaky. It sheds badly. It is very ugly. DON'T BUY THIS! If you MUST buy this, which I would feel very sorry for you. Then don't get it for someone under 8, if a toddler got a hold of this its fur would be sticky, you can't wash this unless you want your washer and dryer to break. There would probably be fur every where too. Plus just by staring at this your child might have nightmares. DON"T BUY!

My Daughter had a load of fun with the product. She carries it everywhere. She take a big responsibility for the "pet." It is so much fun to watch she play the game.
