This Webkinz is appropriately named due to its feel. It has a soft velvety feel--not rough like some velvet fabrics are--and is soft enough for a child that likes a nice feeling, soft stuffed animal. Its oversize ears just make it plain adorable!

I do recommend this for your collection!

My daughter has the original (non-velvety) elephant and this velvety elephant. Although both are whimsical, this one has a "cuter" look about it, especially when looking at it head-on. Although the ear color may not seem natural, I think it breaks up the all-grey look and gives this elephant a different personality than the regular elephant.

In terms of durability, this animal will probably attract more dirt and grime than the original, simply because the velvety material is more absorbant. It may require a lot of cleaning. Online, the elephant doesn't really vary from any of the other Webkinz animals. I would consider this elephant, however, one of the "must-have" Webkinz pets.

It's soft, cute and fun. Cutest webkinz yet as in title of my review. Cuter than Elaphant, the plain one. I totally recomend it for webkinz lovers. I'm active for hours on this site. Not only cute and fun; softer than you'll think. Truly, it is. No joke. Finest fur. Ears and horns are other cute features. Wait till you see it online though.

Cute and so soft! Our family has noticed that webkinz seem to develop tears easily in some of the seems.

Made my little girls x-mas... she had lost her elephant prior to x-mas and it was discontinued ...I found it on Amazon and it was shipped fast and in perfect condition... Santa is unbelievable and totally made her day

This pet is one of my first Webkinz orders. They are plushy and soft and very much fun to snuggle with. It came in good condition and I appreciate that. One purchase I got, not from you, had four pets stuffed in a rather small box. They come back to shape, but I don't like the fact that a little more care was not taken.

Not only huggably soft and lovable, but comes with a code to enter the wonderful online world of Webkinz and create a pet; play fun and educational games to earn points to feed and stylishly clothe and accessorize your beloved pet, as well as furnish its cozy, ultramodern home. Too many and diverse games to grow bored anytime soon!

My youngest daughter loves elephants. This is super soft and she loves sleeping with it!

This is a very cute toy, and my granddaughter loves it. I would be careful, however, on giving it to a child who is too young. The eyes could come out and be a choke hazard. The Webkinz have the added bonus of being interactive with the computer web site, and there is a lot of things for the children to do there. Great for a rainy day.

This has been one of our son's favorite toys for some time. In fact, this is to replace his first elephant which has been repaired a few times.
