My daughter has this weenie dog and she loves him so much. It's way cuter in real life, it looks like a Dachshund puppy. Very cute addition to my daughter's Webkinz collection (she currently has 20). She named this one Hershey, since chocolate is her favorite food. This dog is soft, and sweet, and sure to be loved for a long time. She also can play online with a code on the dog's tag that lets you play in a virtual world of Webkinz. Hours of fun play whether it's playing the the toy itself, or playing on the computer. Well worth investing in as a collector too.

This dachshund was a great hit! It is a replica of a family dog and was received with delighted squeals!. It is really soft and quite cute.

This is the cutest Webkinz I have seen! Of course, I love Dachshunds, so that helps! It is a nice size and has a great feel to it. It has shiny fur and cute expression. I gave it to my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it too.

i love this dachshund . i have been collecting webkinz since i was 6 [i am 10 years old]. i have 104 webkinz and this one is one of my favorites . the shipping was really fast. overall you should buy it if you love dogs or webkinz ,BUY IT!!

He takes it every where he goes and sleeps with it at night. He loves taking care of it. Loves it as much as his Wii, well, almost!

My grandaughter had this on her list for Christmas and I am sure she will be pleased. I think webkinz are a fun toy in that you can go on line and interact with them.

We purchased the webkin for our daughter because all the other girls her age seem to be getting into webkins. She really likes it, its so soft. The toy itself is not very educational but, the website offers a lot of educational tools. The games seem fun and she really enjoys it. It has taught her already that she has to save up her kinz cash to purchase things for her animals. Overall good toy. We have already purchased her another one.

My daughter loves any kind of webkinz, especially since we have a Dachshund at home.

My granddaughter, age 9, collects Webkinz. This particular one looks identical to her real dog! I had ordered this along with several other items from this seller, Collectors Paradise. She loved everything.

Although Webkinz's are toys, my granddaughter has learned a great deal about money by using the internet and registering the toys. I never realized just how much she learned until I sat down with her and watched what all transpires after the animal is registered. They have to be fed, clothed, etc. In order to do that certain things must be done to earn "money" in order to buy the food and accessories. It was an eye opener for me. I thought they were only "toys."

I had to laugh because my granddaughter had to be away for a couple of days and had asked her father to "take care of the pets." If they aren't taken care of such as feeding, they will become "ill." I found him logging on to the Webkinz and feeding the pets for her! Yes, she is serious about taking care of them. It truly has been a learning experience for her.

My only negative was with the vendor. I placed the order on December 14th however, the items didn't ship until December 20th. Per their shipping dates, the cutoff for guaranteed delivery was December 15th. I met that deadline. They did not. Needless to say, the items arrived after Christmas.

Unfortunately we have two of the real animals in our home. I got this one so I could say ONE dachshund in our home does not bark at night, eat toilet paper or have bad breath.

The thing is seriously cute and I got it for my wife, not my kids. We enjoyed getting to know him and seeing how he was not afraid of strangers or inclined to pee in the house when excited. Ours is named Twinkie after a now deceased dachshund of my father in law who this Webkinz resembles.

It was really fun to watch my wife play the online game with one of our kids and see the little dashy on the computer screen. I guess I am too much of a neophyte when it comes to Webkinz, but I didn't realize the little online characters actually looked like the animals.
