Webroot Secureanywhere Essentials- 15 Months of Protection

SecureAnywhere works as well if not better than the Webroot products we are accustomed to. The installation on my Windows 7 Ultimate was seamless and trouble free. Navigation through the software is fairly intuitive and what you need is right at your fingertips. The product found 2 medium risks I didn't even know were there and took care of the problem. This is definitely on my list when it's time to upgrade. Thanks Webroot for another great product.

This program is scary. What do I mean? I once had all of my computer files wiped out due to a virus. I'm scared to death. It might happen again.

I've grown accustomed to the notices telling me the program has or hasn't updated. Of having to wait hours while the program ran scans on the computer.

Well, don't! This program is so quiet and fast, you won't even know it's on your computer. It does in minutes what used to take hours to complete. That's why occasionally I want to say "is anyone out there".

I have been using Webroot for over a year now, and it has worked very well for me! It has blocked countless incursions. I am a teacher, and must download things off the web from sites all over the world. I've always been protected!

This is the best thing since sliced bread! Keep up the good work, and I'll tell as many people as I can to buy Webroot. Thanks Again !

Webroot SecureAnywhere came to our rescue when other anti-virus programs could not. The Webroot team allowed us to download the SecureAnywhere Beta Version to our netbook and then run it from a flash drive on this, badly infected, desktop PC. Other anti-virus software had failed to protect this PC and the malware had disabled the security software, prevented downloading any other versions, and limited our access to the Internet. After we ran SecureAnywhere Beta several times, it found and eliminated over a dozen malware viruses that had taken over this computer. Where other security software had been disabled by the malware, SecureAnywhere Beta was not stopped. This computer is clean again and SecureAnywhere is our new anti-virus of choice. The Webroot technical team could not have been more helpful. Each time we encountered a new problem, they sent a solution.

It scans much faster. I love it. I accidentally uploaded a trojan that was trying to extort me. I knew it was extortion. I sent feedback to Webroot Secure Anywhere. Which responded with instructions for scanning in safe mode but I think I didn't follow the instructions correctly. Later, my computer shutdown and I thought the problem was getting way worse. But my computer restarted on its own and the problem appeared to be gone. Apparently, Webroot Secure Anywhere shut my computer down to remove the problem. I couldn't believe it.

The new version of Webroot (Secure Anywhere) is much faster and uses a lot less CPU than the previous version I had. Glad I was given the free upgrade. Thanks and keep the updates coming.

I always am a skeptic about "new and improved" versions of a product, especially that works great from the start. That being said, this new SecureAnywhere version is even better then the version before. Scans are much quicker, and detection of 'critters' is top notch! I especially like the fact that when scanning, you are still able to navigate online without the 'jitters' of other versions. Very clean, very fast, very secure....just Webroot at it's best!

Didn't want to change from the old version of Webroot Security Essentials, and was pretty much forced to. I didn't like that at the time, but this new version is about 10 steps up the ladder! Didn't believe it until I tried it, but it doesn't take long to find out how fast and trim it is. I would have bitched and moaned with the prior version but this is nothing like it....Try it and see, that's all there is to it! No bloated fumbling, but really incredible speed of scans. Courtesy of the cloud? Probably. But it works along with Windows Firewall and Defender like it was born with it. Now, we'll see if will stand the test of time....and I expect it will set the standards for awhile.....

The updated software can scan my computer in record time without slowing down the other applications that I'm using. And, because it's Webroot, I know my computer is protected.
