(It's the old wiifm (What's in it for me) situation that the visitor wants to understand from your site) if you can't or don't provide that compelling Value Proposition, then there's every chance that your visitor will leave your site and go and checkout your competition instead.

Wow! A book that delivers. How cool is that? Gives the basics without a bunch of hype that is hard to understand. Terms the reader might be unfamiliar with are explained without the author patronizing the reader. I appreciate that so much!!! This is the one book on SEO that I actually understood, which makes my job of getting my portfolio online, up and running. At least better than it is now.
