As with the Webster's New World Spanish and Italian dictionaries, this is excellent. I find everything I look for and more. There is the added advantage of a pronunciation guide for the English and French entries, a feature sadly lacking in many other dictionaries.

When I got this dictionary,I got pleased with it.That was not too large,detailed,academical and literatural,but if you are new in French,you don't need another one.This is very easy-searching and general for French learner.If you are not professional in French,you mustn't search the larger one.

I already have the Italian and German versions of the above and on that basis bought this title. I had carefully perused the many concise dictionaries available and found Webster's superior. The text is clear and easy to read, the format is comfortable to use and basically it meets my needs.
The special grammar and communication guides in the center are well done and useful.
