Handy and Portable Reference for Writing a Paragraph,

This small dimension 320 page book, which I received as part of a gift set, is very easy to flip through to view basic writing rules. Amazon's Look Inside feature shows all the categories covered. In fact, this little book covers everything you need to know to be able to write a paragraph. That sounds so simple but it is not. The ability to confidently and consistently write a paragraph is huge.
Many successful adults have forgotten rules of grammar. Learning writing skills can be labor intensive, and the only solution is to practice and either have a teacher/tutor or use a guide such as this one. Webster's New World Pocket Style Guide is an excellent resource. It covers everything up to being able to write a paragraph. The price is right. Once it gets dog-eared and filled with notes in the margins, it has probably served its purpose. It is money well spent as I appreciated it as a gift, I'm sure others will as well.
