Gianni and Tiziana Baldizzone live in Turin. Their passion for ethnography has led them to travel all over the world for twenty years. They have participated in exhibitions in Paris and Tokyo, and their publications include Tibet: Journey to the Forbidden City and Tales from the River Brahmaputra: Tibet, India and Bangladesh.

I am working on my thesis project about Indonesian wedding rituals and ceremonies. I have to do a lot of research because the traditional wedding in Indonesia is very rich in culture and very different than American. Everytime I go to some bookstores, they only have Western/American and Jewish wedding books. I am looking into more world/international ethnics rituals and ceremonies. When I found this book, I was blessed. It's has beautiful photos, stories and layout. It covers many traditional wedding from many beautiful cultures. I am happy. This book is such an inspiration. It also great for coffe table and to add in your library.
