The book is quite a good companion for anyone who will be playing piano at weddings. It's a good collection of wedding pieces, that is so useful as I have a number of wedding music to plan.
However, the disappointments for me are: one, that Robert has edited some of the popular traditional wedding pieces like the Wedding March to a simplified and much shorter version. It seemed to lack the intricacy and richness that these classical pieces had. I was actually looking for full versions of these pieces, so this is quite a down side for me. Secondly, the binding of the book doesn't really allow ease of displaying on the piano as it doesn't lie flat and keeps curling back shut. |
