Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal

This reprint collects two of Wells's early novels, The Wedding Dress (1982) and With This Ring (1984), about Rebecca Wolstone, a young woman searching for a home with only two heirlooms to her name: her mother's wedding dress and a book. A disastrous marriage leads her to question her decisions, and the return of a childhood sweetheart helps her regain her faith. For collections where Wells and Janette Oke are popular.

I thought this was just going to be a run of the mill western romance. Wow what a history of the Mormon church. I learned far more about them then I ever thought I wanted to know!!! I really think it should be read if nothing else but for that history and understanding. I could read this a couple of times a year...............Great great read.........
