You don't find love in Paris -- It finds you

We'll Always Have Paris by Barbara Bretton
After twenty-eight years of marriage, Kate and Ryan Donovan called it quits. Two years later at their daughter's wedding, they're seeing each other in a whole new light -- the City of Light, where romance beckons around every corner . . .

Something Borrowed, Something Blue by Marie Ferrarella
Maid of honor Shannon Donovan hates the fact that she's at a wedding without her fiance -- and that the best man is Josh McClintock, a cad she hasn't seen since college. But it turns out her fiance may not be the man she thought he was . . . and neither is Josh.

The Picture of Love by Cindi Myers
She's a hopeless romantic. He's a jaded bachelor. But when Lacey Jessup, a naïve caterer's assistant, meets worldly wedding photographer Marc Kendrick, sparks fly. Perhaps a tour of Paris is all they need to find some common ground.

The concept is three short stories by three different authors about the same wedding. Gabe and Alexis are getting married in Paris and their whole family has come for a week to celebrate and prepare. The first story is of Alexis parents who are separated but with the magic of Paris and little match making romance happens. The second story (my favorite) is about the best man and maid of honor who knew each other in high school, find themselves in the city of love - great characters, and leaves you with a smile. The third story is about the Hotel Chief and Photographer/cousin of groom - sweet, quick finish to a great book.

If you enjoy this genre, I would also suggest; Crazy For You by Kate Angell, Spirited Away by Cindy Miles, See Jane Score by Rachel Gibson and Falling for Gracie by Susan Mallery.

Cute October 7, 2007
Format:Mass Market Paperback
The premise: while attending a wedding in Paris, three American couples discover love. The three stories are all written by different authors, but have common characters in them. The stories are short, each at about 80 pages, so obviously there isn't a lot of room for either character or storyline development. The first two stories were fairly good - the third was the weakest of the bunch. It was a cute read, very easy, very short, and lacking a lot of substance. But, the cover is cute and it provides a diversion (not much sex action and no swearing) - a clean read and light.
