I got a lot out of this book, including what I consider a decent contract for my clients. Thanks for all the examples and the reasoning behind your decisions, authors! It was worth the money.

This book is the best on this subject! I've found it extremely valuable. It's very well written and very easy for non-legal professionals to understand. The sample forms are fully explained and are very easy to alter to my business' specific needs. I'm also better able to explain my contracts to my clients!
I think this is a must have for any professional photographer who doesn't have the option of having legal representation on retainer.

A Must HAVE,

This is an excellent resource for any photographer even remotely thinking about doing any serious or even semi-pro work. It goes beyond simply showing you contracts but goes into why it says what it says. Of course a local attorney should be consulted for local laws but this is an excellent resource. You are given a link to download copies of forms from and they can be edited as necessary (Business name, etc.) I am glad I got THIS book. Get it.

This is a good book to familiarize yourself on the legal aspects of photography. Sound advice is given to thwart potential legal problems photographers may incur. There are many examples of forms and contracts that can be used as a pattern to tailor your obligations and limitations to your clients. These include a wide variety of topics such as financial issues, model releases, contracting and copyrights to name a few. The text is written in terms that is easy to make sense of which is a nice attribute. Overall, this book is a wise investment.
