About the Author
Kenneth Gilmore is the owner of the Pinecrest Event Center & Chapel and his hands on experience plus that of his staff is reflected in The Wedding Savings System. He has a MBA from The University of Texas and he uses the analytical skills he developed to explain contracts, develop checklists and budgets. He was also a US Government Contracting Officer and he used this experience to develop the competitive bidding worksheets. The contributing author, Jeanne-Marie Deshaies has fifteen years in the wedding industry including catering, flowers, bridal studios, owner of a hair salon, and wedding coordination. Now she serves as the on-site coordinator for all weddings at the Pinecrest facility, which encompasses Event coordinator for the bride/groom and scheduling and monitoring of vendor execution for the event. In this capacity she is involved with hundreds of vendors and she relates this knowledge throughout the book. Her intimate knowledge of the wedding process and the necessary budgeting and planning is reflected throughout the book and compliments the contributions of Mr. Gilmore.
