I've started to replace my interior RV dome lights with LED lights to reduce power consumption, etc. These little bulbs work great for that purpose, however, they don't put out the same lumens as the 18W bulbs that I am replacing. These are the very white LED's. The warmer version of this bulb puts out even less lumens, according to the distributor's site. The good news is that these only use 1.4 watts of energy. The reason for the lower output is that these are the smaller 3528 SMD's (surface mounted diodes). If you want more light, as I do, then get a bulb using the larger 5050 SMD's that use 0.2 watts per diode. For example, the T10 Base 10 SMD 5050 LED White Side Pin10-30V DC Bulb, 1438WH flat bulb has ten of the 5050 SMD's and uses 2 watts of energy, and gives you 160 lumens rather than the 106 lumens of this bulb. Another example: the White Bright SMD LED T10 Lighting Wedge 1415WH 2821, 2825, 168, 194, W5W, 158, 147, 152, 159, 161, 184, 192, 193, 901, 904, 916, 917, 918, 920, 921, 922, 923, 926, 927. bulb has thirteen 5050 SMD's for a total power consumption of 2.6 watts and perhaps 200+ lumens (I haven't purchased these bulbs yet, but the price is too good to be true). I will do an update when I buy a few more bulbs including the super bright Brightest LED Replacements for Malibu Landscape light T10 Wedge Base 18 x 5050 SMD 12v Ac/dc, 1441WH bulb with eighteen 5050 SMD's and uses 3.6 watts, and puts out a whopping 288 lumens! The size may be a problem, however.

The bottom line is that this is a great bulb if you only want about 100 lumen of white light, which is equivalent to a 10 watt incandescent bulb. This is also a polarity sensitive bulb: if it doesn't work one way, flip it over.

My travel trailer uses these in lieu of the regular 12v lights commonly found in some interior trailer light fixtures. It saves on battery life if you do not have hook-ups. This size produces plenty of light. Check that your light fixture uses the right kind of mount as it can vary with different kinds of fixtures.

I purchased three of these for a fixture over the dining table of my RV. The three combined produce barely enough light to read comfortably. I'll have to find another application for them that requires less light.

"Edit"
After the initial disappointment using these LEDs in the frosted sconce fixture over the table, I have found they produce sufficient light in other areas of the RV, used in double and single dome type lights. I also found the wedge bases on the LEDs to be slightly larger and a tight fit for replacing standard 921 bulbs.
