Can't play ukulele without them!,

I hate playing ukuleles with a plastic pick because it makes a scratchy slapping sound against the strings. With the rubber picks, there's no sound. It sounds like picking with your thumb, but loud and full.I definitely think anybody who plays ukulele should have these. So far I've found them to be durable after a week of use on one pick everyday. No signs of wear or rubbing off so it's pretty sturdy. Medium is a good stiffness, but if you want a REALLY natural sound, you might want to look for the soft version. I don't recommend a hard pick because it'll make sound against the uke strings. So I definitely recommend this pick for anyone who wants full sound on a pick without the harsh scraping of plastic. A lot of my friends who play uke and guitar are impressed with these picks, too.

Probably would only use this on bass, but interesting,

It's a well-made pick, the grip is amazing. Even being really thick, the 'medium' is fairly floppy; similar to any other 'medium' pick's bendiness. So, if you like stiff picks, you may want the bigger one.Using this pick results in only the sound of the strings vibrating causing noise, you lose all the 'pick attack', which turns out to be a ton of the brightness on a normal guitar. I'm not sure I would use this normally on my acoustic, but it's fun to play with. Where this pick really shines is on a bass. To my ear, it sounds just like finger picking a bass string, but without the discomfort on your fingers. I'm an occasional bass player, and I haven't mastered the art of finger picking bass style (usually with your first and second fingers), so using this pick instead is a lot more comfortable for me.

Easy to grip, nice clean sound. We used for a ukelele and a guitar and were very pleased with the results of both.

Nice pick, comfortable in the hand - good tactile feeling. But I learn (again) that I don't really like playing my ukulele with a pick. Added this product to a larger order I was already making. Info says "3 pack" but I received only two picks in the little bag. Not worth the effort to follow-up with company for a refund or fix to the order.

Good for slow strumming, but not much else,

Got these to use with my classical guitar because I am not crazy about the sound of plastic picks. The sound is great, but you really cannot do any fast strumming with this pick, it just drags too much. If you are just doing simple strumming while practicing chords, this eliminates that plingy sound you get with a plastic pick. So, I like it, but probably won't use it much, especially as I improve and am better able to do different strum patterns.

I was looking for a felt pick to fool around with on my bass guitar but stumbled on these and I'm glad I did. They are perfect for the bass. They are firm enough to do fast lines and the sound is clean. The tone that is produced with these is much more bass like than using a regular pick. I liked the soft ones a little better because they let me pick both sides of a string a little faster.I recommend them highly!

Not what we expected,

These guitar picks were not at all what we expected. They are rubbery and bend. This makes it hard to use as a guitar pick, especially for a beginer. This may be a specialty item and, if so, the description of the item should indicate this. We expected the picks to be a hard rubber and not so bendable.

Pick choice is a matter of taste, but I like these,

I have these in both medium and hard versions, and I like the sound they produce on my ukelele. They are significantly thicker than the usual plastic pick, so whether you like them or not will probably be a matter of playing style and what you are used to. But, at the price, it is easy to give them a try.

The rubber wears off fairly easy leaving residue on your strings and the pick guard. Otherwise they do produce a nice sound from the guitar with very little pick noise. The grip is comfortable but there is only one side with an indention for your thumb, so if you turn the pick upside down it's a little awkward. I will buy more of these albeit in a thicker size.

I like the way these picks work and sound for both guitar and ukulele. I think that the steel strings on the guitar will tear these picks up fairly quickly, though.
