Although advertised as an "original" Wedgwood set, this is actually a cheap and poorly made imitation made in China. The true original sets, made in England, were of a much superior quality in color and definition. I returned this product when I saw how poorly made it was.

I saw the previous review and kind of prepared myself for it, it is not made in England. But I was kind of hoping it's not the case for now, since the review was a year ago. I have purchase couple of "real" Wedgwood Peter Rabbit sets over 10 years ago, one of them I gave it away as gift to one of my friend few years ago. I am getting one as gift for future use. I received mine today, the package is different from before, the quality, yeah, it's not the same. There still many quality products made in China, so I did not want to stop buying just because of it, but since I have the one Made in England, I was able to compare.

The bottom line is, for the sales price I got at Amazon, it's OK deal. Consider the price and the cuteness, I do not mind. (I am sure whoever receive it from me will be glad too.) But if you are a collector like me, you are better off to look for this product at specialty stores or eBay, they still have them. If you are lucky, you might be able to get it at a good price.

My son received this gift as an infant back in 2002. Although it wasn't used often it sure was loved when it was. I'm planning on purchasing this same set for my niece within the next few weeks and have purchased it in the past for baptism gifts. This will definitely be a set I pass along when my son has children of his own.

I too was deceived by the picture of plate, cup and bowl, only to find that there was no plate in the set. I think this amounts to false advertising and shall certainly not buy from Macy's again.

I have returned both sets of this product that I ordered for replacement because both cups in the sets were chipped in almost the identical place. I want the dishes but I don't want them broken.

The service was fast and the Peter Rabbit baby china sets arrive in great shape in very attractive boxes! A real plus! Great experience would DEFINITELY buy from them again!

The shipping charge for this was almost as expensive as the set! I can't comment on the set as it was a gift and the new mother didn't open it at the "shower"

I gave this to my Granddaughter for her first Easter dinner. We are going to make many memories with the dishes as well as reading the story of Peter Rabbit. I looked a long time before buying and I am glad I did. This was the right choice.

This bowl and cup come in a book type box. You turn over the lid and there placed in a nice setting is the cup and bowl.. it's a very nice keepsake and will be cherished for years.
