This is my son's favorite video. It may be annoying to most adults, but in a child's eye, it seems to be quite magical. It's entertaining and to hear your child sing the songs is priceless!!!

We used to own the VHS tape of this "King Cole's Party" and both our children and us parents loved it.
In the past years I found myself singing the songs from it and recently my 16 years old daughter regretted that we no longer own a tape player because she was longing to see it again.
I got it for her for Christmas and it's still marvelous.
Every actor seem to enjoy his/herself: English nursery rhymes are are a great and honorable way to celebrate your kids and give them joy that they will remember forever. (I'm Italian, by the way!)
It's cheap enough to give it a try.
Do yourself and your kids/grand kids a favor.
Do not forget to see it and sing it with them.
Highly recommended.

This wee sing movie is one of my least favorites. (It's also the shortest.) The story starts when the charactes sing Old king Cole was a merry old soul.(This movie looks kind of old fashioned.) Then Mary(Mary had a little lamb) Jack, Jill, and Little Boy Blue get ready to go to King Cole's Party. (Mary's lamb is in the movie, but doesn't go with them.) Mary's going to give the king mittens, Jack's going to give his blanket, Jill, her kitten, and Little Boy Blue, his horn. They put it all in a pail. On the way they met The leader of the six little ducks who gives them his feather and the crocked man who gives them a crocked six pence. They also met humpty dumpty who takes them to the castle. (Humpty Dumpty dosn't give them a present.) Then they see the king's other presents that are very fancy and they don't think the're gifts are special. But when they give them to the king, he likes them, but he gives Jack his blanket back. The movie theaches that the best gives are the ones that come from you're heart. Children might get bored at times, but it's pretty good.

This is a lovely dvd. The production is a bit dated, but is for those parents/significant caregivers interested in providing their children with happy, friendly entertainment without the frantic letter/number of the day. Its gentle approach, replete with mutually supportive children, and reliance on mother goose type songs gives it my vote in a big way. For those looking for "meaning", instead of gentility, look elsewhere. I love it, and so have my, yes, 5 children.

I owned the CD version for my children and played it evening into bed time. I expected a CD, so when I got a DVD I was a little suprised. My mistake. I haven't seen the DVD but I Love this story.

i love the way they link all the songs in the video to 1 story. i grew up w these videos so im glad i can share them w my kids now...

My Toddler loves all the Wee Sing videos, but this one was slower than the others. The music wasn't as "up beat" and did not hold his attention to the same level that the others have. We were a little disappointed, but he does still watch this one from time to time.

It's a little more of a darker Wee Sing DVD as compared to the others. Even though my husband and I don't care for it, my 2 year old LOVES it! I can tell that they are lip syncing. So for a little child, it's great. I actually enjoy Wee Sing Sillyville and Wee Sing Train.

Great video for kids- I loved the We Sing in Sillyville when I was a kid, so we ordered this for our daughter and she loves it!

My sisters and I grew up watching the Wee Sing Videos when we were younger. We'd often talk about random scenes/parts from the movie that only we would "get". Now that the four of us have small children/toddlers of our own I thought it would be great to gift a DVD version this year for Christmas. Everyone's reaction was priceless and we enjoy playing them for the small ones! The older ones are already busting into the songs we know and love!!
