Wonderful Talent - Seamus Egan, June 23, 2001

First time I heard Seamus Egan was in upstate new york about 10 years ago. he and (i think) Eileen Ivers on the fiddle played an impromptu duet that sent shivers down my spine. It was wonderful - they certainly clicked in making the most beautiful music i had ever heard. It was ART. I purchased "A Week In January" directly from Seamus that night and have enjoyed it all this time. Wonderful family memories around that tape. Unfortunately, have lost tape and now want to purchase the CD.
The sounds of his music is unmatched by anyone I have listened to. If there are others as good as his sound, please contact me with the names. Hearing Seamus Egan that night ten years ago has brought a lot of joy into my family's lives. We love "A Week in January - all of it. Joan healy
