Fun resource for creative gingerbread houses.
This book on gingerbread houses has beautiful photographs of creative gingerbread homes. I also think that cake decorators would enjoy it!

Save your money!
This is the worst book on gingerbread houses that exists on the market today. Not only that, but the introduction and basic get-you-going text along with the corresponding photos are lifted directly from "Making Great Gingerbread Houses", also by Lark Books. This is the worst book on gingerbread houses that exists on the market today. Not only that, but the introduction and basic get-you-going text along with the corresponding photos are lifted directly from "Making Great Gingerbread Houses", also by Lark Books. Personally, I was as disappointed in Lark Books as I was in "Making Gingerbread Houses". Not only that, but the examples are hideous, and since they weren't done by the author either, the only thing she seems to have contributed is a condescending introduction.
A much better option is Gingerbread Houses by Christa Currie. I make gingerbread houses professionally, and that is the book that got me going. I collect books on gingerbread houses for inspiration and fun, but I sent this book back out of disappointment in both the author and the publisher.
