Well, one thing is for sure. Di Scala and Henry can sure craft a nice beat and melody. Most of these songs clock in at less than three minutes, and the music is uptempo dance-pop or trance-pop. It is kind of a nice mix that you would get if you combined the Pet Shop Boys' sound with today's modern trance (Cascada, Tiesto, Peter Luts, etc.)

These melodies, though familiar in some ways, are standouts, and even the songs that border on guilty pleasure cheesiness ("You and I" for example) boast a confident air of catchiness. The songs don't wear out with repeated listens, either. The sugary pop perfection of "Discobeat" and "Starry Eyed Girl" are highlights, with the only low point out of the 18 tracks being the ill-advised venture into rap ("Pocketful of Love"). The album winds down with six very good tracks. If you program out "Pocketful of Love" you can play this from start to finish. You will not be able to sit still, and the songs can't help but make you smile.

This CD is packed with all kinds of great other stuff (13....YES 13 DVD videos, plus six live tracks). All in all there is a total of 37 songs/videos, making this album a steal even at the import price. In a world full of negativity and self-absorbed, pretentious pop stars, it is refreshing to hear this kind of music. If the beats and melodies don't hook you, the fun atmosphere it creates surely will.
