Projects for a weekend,
By Barbara Rhoades "Jackie of all Trades" (O'Fallon, MO USA) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (TOP 1000 REVIEWER) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Weekend Quilted Projects (Leisure Arts #4682) (Paperback)
A little fabric and a little time and you will have wonderful quilted items give as gifts or keep for your own use. While the quilting process will take a bit longer, the project itself can be completed in one weekend just as the title indicates.
There are pillows, memo boards, table quilts, wall hangings, flags picnic clothes, and even a purse. Full page color photos accompany each project, along with a materials list. There are cutting instructions for the best use of the fabric you choose and graphics are included in the assembly instructions to help you visualize what you are doing. There are three pages of general quilting basics in case you need to review a step or two. If you did one project each weekend, this book will keep you busy for a full three months. Then for the next three months you can take the patterns and create projects of your own using what you have done in these projects. |
