I have tried many of the recipes in the book and have liked all that I tried. My husband really liked the "Crustless Pizza" which is super easy to make plus you can use just about anything as toppings! I loved it and the "Hunters Chicken". The best part about this cookbook is the ease of the recipes. They are not made of dozens of ingredients that you don't normally use, they use common items to make great dishes.

Let me start by saying this was worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone who asked. That being said I was a little disappointed in the fact that there are recipes for 28 entrees, not 28 meals or dinners as the title suggests. It's not the worst thing to have to figure out a side dish or salad to go with the entree but I kind of wanted to leave the thinking to someone else and just worry about the shopping and cooking while trying this out. I must say though that every "dinner" I've prepared so far was tasty and needed minimal adjustments to it to make it to my families liking even though the recipe's are fairly simple and most require very little prep. Some might even prefer this on those busy nights when cooking is the last thing you want to do. I'll close with I wish I could give it a four and a half star rating.

I have been paleo for a long time and have got into the routine of eating the same meals which can get a bit boring. I picked another of Amelia's books and was instantly hooked, so I bought this one. This book is suitable for either the long term paleo like myself or the beginner. It gives you a quick and easy rundown of what paleo is and then gets into the receipes.

Getting bored of meat and salad? This book has 4 weeks worth of great ideas and most of them were new even to me. They are delicious, well presented and easy to follow with normal ingredients most of which you will have on hand.

If you were thinking of trying the paleolithic diet to boost your health, want to lose a bit of weight or need to go gluten free these recipes will be amazing for you.

Amelia includes recipes for Beef, Poultry, Pork, and Seafood & Fish and has a pretty well rounded selection for such a short cookbook. There's a number of appealing recipes such as Double Meat Gumbo that you can enjoy on it's own or use as a guide to create your own masterpiece.

Her recipes include a lot of seasonings, so if you don't have a large spice collection, you may need to stock up on some items.

Instructions are clear and simply worded. She uses the same shortcuts we do in the kitchen such as marinading in Ziploc bags. You won't need special pans or techniques to prepare her dishes - you can dive right in today.

Just starting with Paelo and I found the book a great easy read, easy to understand and you do not need a heap of one off or overly expensive ingredients.

The recipes are simple and easy to follow. Most ingredients in the book are things you probably already have on hand, making it easy to try all of the recipes without having to special order something. This book is well worth the little amount of money it cost! I will be purchasing more of Amelia Simons books.

I really liked this recipe book. There was a nice variety of proteins and it also had some crockpot recipes.
