Most Helpful Customer Reviews

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful By D. Celestino on July 1, 2008
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book is fairly simple and common sense in its approach-- basic guidelines about eating right, stress reduction, exercise, etc. In a sense, it doesn't include anything earth-shattering, but it helps to have it all in an easy-to-read, no-nonsense form. I have found the book to be helpful, enjoyable, and somewhat informative as well.

4 of 5 people found the following review helpful By Cate on December 25, 2008
Format: Paperback
This is a good compiliation of current information on improving immunity - no revelations, but good basic advice and practical suggestions. I ignored the 4 week plan, but gained some helpful knowledge.

The book does have one error. From page 221: "Asian pears are a cross between an apple and a pear." That is not true. Asian pears may look kind of like apples, but they are pears, from the species Pyrus pyrifolia. (Regular pears are Pyrus communis.)
