Suspenseful!, December 3, 2002
Elizabeth Lange, a beautiful,up and coming young actress is invited to spend time at a spa for the rich and famous, by the owners of the spa who had been friends of her lately deceased sister, Leila, a famous star of stage and screen.
Leila's lover, celebrity financier Ted Winters, has been accused of Leila's murder and is awaiting trial.Unbeknown to Elizabeth, Ted has also been invited to the spa, along with his aide and a lawyer who is helping to prepare him for the trial. It soon becomes clear that quite a few of the people at the spa had reason to hate Leila who had antagonised many on her way to the top.Elizabeth is to be the prosecutions chief witness as she heard Leila's voice on the phone, pleading with Ted not to hurt her.It soon becomes obvious that someone is determined to kill Elizabeth and the plot thickens! I found this to be a good, quick, exciting read and not too much of a brain strain.

'Tis Okay, Typical Mary Higgins Clark Script, March 30, 2007
Weep No More My Lady follows the Clark formula for her stories. The suspense and guessing part is to find out who amongst the people surrounding the principal players is the killer. Clark was okay, but is now beginning to be a "read one, read all" type.

A Great Mystery/Suspense Novel, December 14, 2004
A Kid's Review
The novel Weep No More, My Lady by Mary Higgins Clark is a fantastic book fraught with suspense and mystery. As I began to read this book, I became enthralled in it. The book was centered around Elizabeth Lange, a twenty-six-year old actress. Elizabeth was distraught after her sister Leila, a famous movie star, was murdered. Ted Winters, a multimillionaire and Leila's fiancé, is accused of pushing Leila off the terrace of her own apartment. Elizabeth is scheduled to testify against Ted in court but she her doubts that he murdered her beloved sister.
Elizabeth is invited by a dear friend to come to Cypress Point Spa, an exclusive spa where the rich and famous stay. Elizabeth decides to go to the secluded spa, hoping to escape from all of her troubles. When she arrives at the spa, she is confronted with Ted Winters as well as some of Leila's old friends. As Elizabeth begins to discover clues about her sister's murder, she finds her own life to be in danger. Will Elizabeth be able to find the truth about Leila's death before it's too late?
This book kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting to read more. The characters seemed very real to me because the author did a thorough job of describing each one. I thought the author's unique writing style really enhanced the book. The beginning of the book was a little bit slow and slightly confusing, but the suspense made up for it. Another thing I didn't like about the book was that the narrator switched characters with each chapter but this wasn't a big problem. Despite these few things, I think this book was an excellent mystery story and I can't wait to read more books by Mary Higgins Clark. I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone, not just those who are fans of mystery, because I really enjoyed it and I hope others will, too.
